I'm not the person who loves watching movies. I am more into books as a source of entertainment in my life. But I don't mean to say that I hate to watch movies. I love watching movies, but not to extend for being a movie-holic. Saya sesekali menyempatkan diri untuk nongkrong di bioskop, kok. Atau kalau nggak minta tolong teman untuk download-in film yang saya mau. Lagi pula yang gratisan lebih nikmat. Hehehe. Hehe. Ehe.
Day 14: Post your favorite movies that you never get tired of watching.
- Freedom Writers (2007)
The most inspiring movie I've ever seen. It's based on the diaries of the students of Room 203. Seorang guru, yang pelan tapi pasti, melakukan berbagai cara agar siswanya melupakan perbedaan ras di antara mereka dan bersatu dalam ikatan keluarga baru. Sulit menggambarkan perasaan saya saat menonton film ini, yang saya tahu, saya tersenyum bahagia (hampir nangis, mak!) saat tokohnya yang merupakan para remaja mulai berdamai dengan diri sendiri.
- Eiffel I'm in Love (2003)
Sejak dulu sampai saat saya nge-post ini, saya fans Adit garis keras. Kalau cowoknya se-sweet Adit, saya juga mau, kok, dijodohin. Lagian saya udah gak punya calon sendiri ini.
- You Are the Apple of My Eye (2011)
Besides the fact that I fall in love with the main character, Ko Ching-Teng, this movie taught me that some people are meant to fall in love with each other, but not meant to be together. Saya gak lagi curhat, kok.
- The Theory of Everything (2014)
Film drama-romantis yang mengangkat biografi Stephen Hawking, seorang selebritas akademik termahsyur di dunia. Kecerdasan teoretikus fisika ini membuat saya geleng-geleng sepanjang film. Kata Hawking, "Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change."
There are others, but I guess this is enough for now. Would be great if you could post your favorite movies that you never get tired of watching. :)
